After all this talk about how great and stable Win2K is, I'm finally gonna give up on the shaky win98se and install Win2K.

Here's my system:

-Abit BE6 II
-Celeron II 566@850 w/ GORB
-Infineon PC100 128 RAM
-20 Gig Western Digital HD (7200) ATA66
-15 Gig Maxtor (5400) ATA66
-SB Live MP3+
-Voodoo 3 2K
-MS Optical Mouse Explorer
-56x CDROM
-Sony CDR 2x
-generic 56K hardware PCI Modem

Anyone w/ similar config have any problems/success?
I've also heard that many people were having difficulties w/ the SB Live in Win2k, is that problem resolved?

Thanks

My SBLive works like a charm.

You might want to normalclock your computer while you install the OS, especially if you're overclocking the FSB to get it where it's at. Other than that, it should be fine and I personally have no problems with SBLive and w2k

You should be fine, make sure since you have the BE6 motherboard, that you install the Highpoint drivers when it requests any additional drivers, if your hard drives are on the UDMA66 ide ports. The soundblaster should be detected fine.

I have a similiar setup, and one way I noticed to cure the soundblaster problem was to put it in the top PCI slot...
