Will I get a P5B-E 1.02G revision if I order now from New Egg?

I'm just wondering if anybody has ordered one from New Egg recently and what revision they received?

Probably not. I believe the new revision is going to be named differently. Also, other people have gotten the board within the past week and I believe everyone got the 1.01 version. I just ordered one today since I don't want to wait anymore. I have every part for my new computer except for this and I figured it wasn't big enough to wait an undetermined time.

sry for hijacking ur thread but... 😉

PB5-E: 2.1vdimm, only rev 1.01g, but coming as c1 or c2

PB5-E Plus: 2.45 vdimm, C2, rev. 1.02g or even 1.03g?, available only in EU&Asia

PB5 Deluxe = 2.4vdimm, 1.02g or 1.03g?, C1 or C2 versions

is that correct? tia.

With the tests that Anandtech ran using the same rev board and changing the NB I think it is a moot point which one. However, a P5B-E that can support vDIMM to 2.45V is quite appealing as it opens up more choices for RAM.
I didn't want the P5B Deluxe as it was more expensive and had features like dual LAN which I have no need for. It does have a serial port which the P5B-E lacks. The deluxe dropped $4 at NewEgg overnight so I'll be ordering soon I think unless the 1.02g comes out.

Actually the P5B Deluxe is the current WR holder for Intel FSB speeds. The 680i boards are close, but with the mods people do to a P5B it's no contest.
