Will I damage two subwoofers if they are placed close to each other? I have an Altec Lansing subwoofer, from the ADA 305 package, and i'm getting the cambridge FPS2000. Would the subs get damaged or will they work normally when put close to each other?
Thanks,

Viper-Frag -- Not too up on our physics or acoustics, are we? What ever gave you that idea? About all that would happen is that you may get a little excessive bass build up.

if two subs can co-exist in boxes in cars, I'm pretty sure your much smaller computer ones will be fine.

they are shielded. so no problems from there...

though having both on may cause some problems... meaning, depending on their relative locations, you get the thumping, but the vibrations may cancel each other out (destructive interference) which is not good... =(

if you want both on, place one in front of you somewhere, and one behind you somewhere =)

should do no damage at all. most high end HT systems have 2 subs very close to each other
