Will I be as risk?

No, ear wax doesn't cause infections generally. Ear infections are caused by fuild trapped between your inner ear and the inside of the eardrum.
 
Beats me...I never clean my ears out, and ive never had an infection. I also dont get any noticeable earwax buildup though, which is why I dont bother with cuetips in the first place.
