I sure hope your not going to be gaming on this computer.

Other than that: Maxtor -> Seagate
Samsung dvd+- RW -> NEC 3520

And I don't have any experiance with raidmax, but you might consder replaceing the power supply too.

yeah check on newegg and the Antec cases that come with power supplies. For a few dollars extra, its so very worth it. With Raidmax, you will have to worry day in and day out whether or not your system will burn. (Plus you wont have to buy additional fans!)

Nec DVD burner is 63$ i believe. THis is the one you should get.

You only need 1 optical drive really.

Maxtor is decent, Seagate has a better warantee.

I would definitely go to www.fatwallet.com or our own hot deals and find deals on as many things as you can. I recently got a 160GB Maxtor for $47 after PM, IR, MIR. DVD-RW and CD-RW drives are also really cheap if you can find a deal (~$60 for DVD-RW). You could probably spend the money saved on a better video card.

Yeah, I would recommend getting a Sonata (it comes with a 380W Antec PSU, the most important component of your computer) in place of that case. It'll be quiet, cool, look good, and most importanty be getting quality power.

Outpost.com is selling a 160Gb Seagate drive for $50 after $50 mail-in rebaate.

Just get an 8X NEC or Sony DVD-burner, it'll burn/read anything you need it to, and not cost you a lot.

Don't expect much as far as gaming goes. If you save enough money by doing the above, I would highly recommend changing the graphics card. The 6600 (non-GT) would be about the best for a low cost build.

Hope this helps.
