I have an old XPS t700r lying around that I would like to use an HTPC. It's probably about 6-7 years old and has a P3, ~15GB hard drive, 128MB RAM, and a Rage 128 Pro. Would the power supply be able to handle an AGP Radeon 9550 and an extra stick of RAM? I can't tell what power supply it is because the duct from the CPU is obstructing my view of the label, and I don't want to remove it, because it seems to be a slot/slocket based CPU, and I've never messed with those before.

Those aren't too power hungry and you should probably be fine. Plug in everything, if it doesn't boot, you'll have your answer. Good Luck!

Slot A is nothing to be afraid of, you might have to play with it a bit until you figure out how it works, but it's pretty much just slide in and click the fasteners.
