Will HT be enabled from now on?

With the release of 3.06Ghz P4, will every new P4 have HyperThreading enabled from now on?

I'm wondering since I'm considering a Shuttle SB51G and a P4 2.8Ghz 🙂

I think, you got his question wrong 🙂
He wants to find out if every P4 CPU will be HT-enabled, including 2.8 that he's planning to by 🙂

3.06 and up will be HT-enabled. Nothing below 3.06, though 🙁
Although they ARE capable of HT 🙂

no, but there will be 2.4 ghz 800mhz fsb hyper threading enabled chips in Q2 2003

Yeah, Intel is going back to the 2.4's and HTing them (and the faster models) next year.
