Will HP branded Quadro card work in other systems?

Anyone know if HP branded Quadro card will work in other systems?

I am working with a customer who needs a Quadro K6000 on a Gigabyte X79 system we are putting together. The HP branded card are a lot less money than the PNY Quadro cards we might usually get. Trying to figure if the HP has some custom firmware that would prevent it from working. Or is it just a re-branded reference card? Anyone know?

I've never had issues with moving HP quadro to other systems.

quadro's are not made by HP (the big ones) they are just oem'd from nvidia (quadro 6000,K5000,grid)
