Was just looking at it and it's damn nice. RWD to boot. But the only downfall is that it's a convertible, which is really impractical. So will they ever make a hardtop version?

Sweeeet, so any word on if these will be cheaper than the convertible versions? Plus should be a little bit faster if it doesn't have to drag around the convertible mechanism right?

Usually Hardtops are still heavier then Convertables, the mechanism isn't really to heavy as it's made of light materials.

They didn't say a price yet :( they are leaving it pretty much in the dark for the most part :(

I think tiny sport(y/s) cars such as the Z3, S2000, MGB GT, the new MR2 roadster, and even the Miata look good only as convertibles. The hardtops are just so bulky and awkward...

Some of the bigger sports cars like the Vette, Viper, and 911 look awesome as coupes... Not the little guys. I'm a big fan of coupes.

It's not a seperate model. It's just an optional hard top added to the convertible to provide better protection in rain/cold etc.

So instead of raising the soft top, you and another person life the hard top up and attach it to the S2000. It's the same thing with the Z3/M-Roadster, Boxster, Miata, etc.
