Hi. Will Haswell's iGPU (Intel HD 5000) be able to run Battlefield 3 at '1366 x 768' ultra settings with the AA turned off?

Cause I saw the gaming benchmarks of Ivy bridge's mobile processors and they were pretty impressive to me. Now some sources state that Haswell's iGPU will possesses 40 execution units compare to that of Ivy bridge's 16...

Highly doubt it.

A 6570 is much faster than the HD 4000.

HD 5000 will not see that big of a boost.

well no thats not entirely true. haswell is supposed to show a bigger igpu performance boost than ivy bridge, so maybe it will be able to play it but certainly not @ ultra settings.

I think it'll run at the lowest settings. With all extra stuff turned off.
Maybe even in windowed mode?

Llano 's A8-3870k can play with settings like these:

resolution: 1280 x 720
texture quality: high
shadow quality: medium
effects quality: medium
mesh quality: high
terrain quality: high
terrain decoration: low
anti-aliasing deferred (MSAA): off
anti-aliasing post (FXAA): medium
motion blur: off
anisotropic filtering: 4x
ambient occlusion: off

APU Settings

AMD A8-3870K @ 3.2 GHz
Radeon HD 6550D @ 757 MHz
NB @ 900 MHz
4GBx2 DDR3 1866 CL9

And more or less stay ~35-45 fps.

I think a Intel HD4000 could probably do the same,
so maybe a HD5000 could do what you ask, hell maybe even the Trinity Desktop version topend, can.

^Yeah. Plus this vid http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=juymoqvlYm4 shows Intel's iGPU capabilities. But it's a non-mobile processor i.e. it's a desktop processor...

so basically:

resolution: 1280 x 720
texture quality: medium
shadow quality: low
effects quality: medium
mesh quality: medium
terrain quality: medium
terrain decoration: medium
anti-aliasing deferred (MSAA): off
anti-aliasing post (FXAA): off
motion blur: off
anisotropic filtering: 1x
ambient occlusion: off

^ somewhat lower than the settings the A8-3870k uses.
This HD4000 iGPU (from a i7-3770) seems to be able to run around 25-34 fps.

Seems like the (A8-3870k) Llano iGPU > HD4000 iGPU (i7-3770), when it comes to playing Battlefield3.
