Will GPU/high-performance RAM ever use FCBGA packaging?

Do any of you think that we will eventually see FCBGA being used as the prevalent package for our GPU's RAM? It makes sense to me, considering how much cooling is needed for them, nowadays.

(Flip-chip BGA means that the die is exposed, rather than covered-up by plastic)

Pretty sure all modern RAMs use FCBGA already... unless I'm very confused.

Flip-chip is basically the alternative to the old method of using wire bonding to pins. RAM chips have moved to BGA, but they normally don't expose the die the way they do on CPUs because there's no need to do so.

I'm not 100% sure but I believe the modern BGA RAM chips are in fact already "flipped".
