Guys do you know or have any idea that will games will stop giving option of 1024X768 resolution in future, I mean will future games have 1024X768 resolution? If yes then will you expect them to give up this resolution.

Obviously this is speculative, but my opinion is that at some point they will, but I highly doubt that it will be soon. The prevalence of CRT's is still quite high and the 1024x768 was the sweet spot for many of those monitors. Besides, how much work does it take to add that res to the game? I can't imagine that it takes all that much.

I don't think so.
One of the reasons is that there is no need to give it up. Most game engines are resolution independent so you don't have to code for each resolution. Despite what some may think of 1024x768 , realize that 720p for HDTV is only 1280x720. Not a whole lot more. 1024x768 with AA enabled can actually look pretty damn good.

I'm not sure why you think this would ever happen, without a major change across all computer hardware in the world. Games are written to be flexible enough for anyone with a reasonable computer to run; scaling video to any lower OR higher resolution is only limited by what your components can handle. Some apps/games/OSes let you specify any random numbers you feel like, standard or otherwise.

TLDR version: Not unless every monitor and video card maker in the world suddenly changes how the whole system works.
