Just asking because the only reason I would upgrade from my 7800GT SLI setup is to run HDR+AA. If it doesn't then I guess I'm fine till G80.

3 out of the 4 splitting modes dont even work in most games. that is why sli is so much better, because its simple and it works. no ugly cables, no ugly drivers.
the two are on par, but sli clearly makes nvidia a winner, since multigpu technology is a must when play at high resolutions (and who doesnt now a days). I want HD gaming, so I will buy nvidia, because their SLI is a winner over crossfire. no doubts about it.
