Will G. Skill Ripsaw X series work in amd board and Intel board?

I think these should work. They seem to be binned for lower voltage, and while GSkill tech support told me these were different chips that their standard Ripjaws, I can't imagine they wouldn't work on AMD. There are some examples of AMD users with the 1333 modules: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231426. Keep in mind that AMD boards can't clock memory up as high, so you may want to go with the cheaper 1333.

I also thought they would work. Information on the G. Skill website is sketchy at best. Oh, I forgot these are on sale for $89.99!😀

Excellent deal. It's worth a try for sure. Just be prepared to run at lower speeds if necessary (most of these kits default to lower than 1600 anyway unless you set up a profile in the bios).

All memory needs to follow JEDEC standards. Everything beyond that ("designed for..." "dual channel" etc.) is purely marketing.
