i believe fedex will not leave any packages to the door... u get a door tag telling u where they put ur package and the next delievery time... also a part where u sign if u want em to leave it infront of ur door

yes, unless the sender paid for signature confirmation.

Edit: well...in my experience, UPS is the one who usually leaves that note on ur door. but fedex always just leaves packages at my door. i shipped stuff from cali to nj once and when i went to the office, i asked the worker there and they said that unless u pay for signature confirmation, they will just usually ring the doorbell and leave stuff.

FedEX is only SUPPOSED to leave the package if you have signed a release waiver saying that it's ok. My Fedex driver would never leave them but he was tired of coming back so he got me to sign the form.

Fedex normally requires a signature..ups will either get a signature and then leave it(Nice guy)

or bad guy..will hide it somewhere and not leave a note(happened to me 3 times)

Walked past the patio one time and said...what's that behind the broom..it was a box containing my TI-89 that I had been waiting weeks on. This was the summertime and it was warm, but thank god it was in the shade....as usual no note on the door and I have no idea how long it was sitting on my patio.
