Will falling LCD prices

Considerably affect notebook and handheld prices ?

Possibly for notebooks (although those prices are quite attractive as they are now), but I don't think it'll do much for handhelds. I don't think the LCD in handhelds contributes TOO much to the overall cost.

Price point tends to stay the same. cheapys cost XXX mid range cost XXXX high end cost XXXXX

They will prolly just put extra ram or a bigger HDD in when the models roll over.

imho You will not see $100 come off a model price just from a component price drop

yeah..I would agree with the point above...the prices kinda stay the same..but they change the components...Companies do this to maintain their profit margins....
