Will extra cache on A64 make a big difference?

The difference between the A64 3000+ and A64 3200+ is their cache sizes. They are 512kb and 1 mb respectivley. The benchmarks are not that much different on a 32 bit operating system. Will the jump to 64 bit make the A64 3200+ perform much better that the A64 3000+ because of the greater cache size?????

I have read that it will help in the 64 bit os but I don't think anyone knows for sure yet. Either way I bet it won't make that big of a difference.

That said I bought the 3200+ because it was only $45 more.

Yes it will be helpful because 64-bit code is naturally more bulky... 64 bits instread of 32. The main benefit comes from the additional registers though. I don't think it will make a HUGE difference... most likely it'll be about the same as the T-bred B vs. Barton debate... maybe even less significant due to the added registers.
