Will electrical tape hurt PC?

I am wondering if electrical tape would hurt PC hardware in any way....I wrapped my power cords on my power supply in some funky UV electrical tape, and am wondering if that will hurt anything.....

I used electrical tape to clean up some wires in my case, and it's been running fine.

It won't hurt anything except that it will leave a sticky mess when you take it off.

K, that is what I figured, but rubbing alcohol should get the glue off afterwards.....correct?

Yeah, it is a good solvent for that adhesive
