Which would should I go for to go with a Intel Pentium G620 Sandy?

I think since they are both LGA1155 and so is the Sandy, either will work, right?

Only reason I asks is because under the overview for them both, it says CPU Type - Intel i7/i5/i3. No mention of a pentium. Threw me off.

no you are the one who's mixed up, sandy bridge pentiums are only compatible with LGA 1155.

You are quite right. I stand corrected. I did some checking. I didn't realize that Intel had released Pentiums in an LGA 1155 package.
