Will either of these cards work on a widescreen LCD?

Hey all, hoping someone could tell me if I need to pick up a new vid card or if I can get away with either of these 2 ancient ones I have at the moment. I'm picking up a 19" LCD and the normal native res seems to be 1440x900. So will an ATI Radeon 8500 or a Geforce2 support that? I'm not doing anything gaming wise, so no need for anything crazy. I just want it to support the default resolution with no problems.

My wife has an ATI Radeon 8500 on a 19" widescreen LCD, so its possible (using DVI). I had a hard time getting it to work right over the VGA cable, though. If you have DVI, you should be OK.

Thanks man. I think I have some DVI cables laying around in work. I'll grab one of those just incase the LCD doesn't come with one.
