Will DVDShrink do a better job if you do Analysis?

When I open a DVD with DVDShrink it automatically goes into an analysis mode of some kind. I can burn the entire thing (shrunk to a DVD5), or Reauthor, and in this case the title itself without the extras was 85%. Without reauthoring it would have been 57.5%. So, I decided to Reauthor. There's an Analysis button at the top and I'm wondering if pressing that and making the program go through a ~20 minute analysis will improve the quality of the video. Since it takes a lot longer than the initial analysis, I assume it somehow does a more thorough job. I realize that DVDShrink doesn't include an actual decoder. Don't know how it works. Does the _long_ analysis result in an improvement? For <75% I go with DVD Rebuilder which uses an actual encoder.

It should be better quality as "deep analysis" will go frame by frame to see which can be removed, versus every so many frames (don't remember the number) with standard analysis. However, if you will be able to see the difference will depend on a few factors.

1) The size of screen you are viewing the shrunk video on
2) The distance you sit from the screen
3) The type of screen you will be viewing it on (480i, 480p, 720p, 1080p)

If this is for a backup of your originals, I would just do movie only with no extras and remove any subtitles and languages I don't know.
