Will DSL and phone line networking work together?

Currently I have DSL which runs over the phone lines. I want to get a phone line networking kit which also uses the phone lines for the network. Will this combo get along? If you have any experiences with this setup please post your experiences. Thanks.

I don't think that will work quite well. Especially since things like alarm systems sometimes messes up your dsl

Works fine. I just finished a game of UT online. It was through Ethernet, but my HomePNA is hooked up and running at the same time. HomePNA on my other computer works fine too for gaming (even though it's only 1 Mbps). My DSL is supposedly 960 down, and I usually get around 850-875 on Ethernet. With HomePNA, there is no speed degradation at all.

My setup is here.

(My bridge is a 10 Mbps Ethernet HomePNA 2 bridge, but my HomePNA 1 card only supports 1 Mbps in case you're wondering. The router and card are Linksys, and the bridge is a Netgear.)

With voice, fax, and dsl over the line already, I'm wary of throwing another signal onto the line. It took 2 months for the dsl people to get that setup correct, i'm scared to mess with it now.

Voice (900 MHz phone and answering machine), fax (with a separate number using distinctive ring, but on the same line), DSL, HomePNA, all working fine together. Tried using my laptop's V.90 modem - works fine as well.

HomePNA is designed to work concurrently with DSL and voice. It's in the spec actually.
