Will Dell ever redesign their notebooks?

The current crop on Dell Notebooks are just plain ugly IMO. There widescreen model is way to big compared to other widescreens.

Also, will they ever offer a 64MB version of the Mobility 9600?

Thanks,

dell won't, but whomever it is that actually manufactures their notebooks will.

Dell actually has much of the final say in what the notebooks look like. They do most of the design work for the actual "shell" of the computer. Case in point: Samsung makes the Dell X300, Dell 300m and the Gateway 200 series, yet they all look different, despite being the same notebook underneath.

My advice to Dell: get rid of that nasty blue. Ugh.

to the original post, why would you want a 64 mb radeon 9600? dell currently offers the 128 mb pro version.

a 64mb radeon 9000 would be better anyway(which they have), because the idea of not wanting the 128mb m10 usually means the consumer isnt going to be gaming that much anyway.
