Welp the time has come... Tomm dell is supposed to ship my digital camera (after the 2nd backorder delay). I ordered the camera on the 28th of June.

Do ya think it will ship tomm?

I ordered mine like at 12:30am wendesday morning and recieved it thursday afternoon.

The email confirmation scared the sh!t out of me because the estimated ship date was July 31.

I actually called to ask what was up with that on wednesday afternoon, but they nice lady couldn't really help me.

It was a very unexpected surprise when it came thursday. :Q

Delayed AGAIN. New ship date, Jul 19th. Were going on a month now.

Ahhh.. Dell.

I'm never buying from then after the little fiasco with my Radeon 8500. Dell had an insane deal a while back: Radeon 8500 for ~$230, before it had even been released. I preordered and ended up waiting 2 MONTHS AFTER THEY RECIEVED THE CARDS before I got mine. They started sending them out right when they got them, but in a totally fscked up order, so that people who had ordered later on got theirs... while I sat there for 2 freaking months getting another "delayed" email every couple of weeks.

I just got ANOTHER email from dell delaying my order until 7/31.

Ive had enough of this crap, dell just lost a longtime customer. Im calling to cancel the order, i give up.

What camera was it? I ordered a Canon S200 and S330 a few weeks back and got a ship date of Sept. 19...but they arrived last week...so it might be worth waiting...they usually ship earlier than their expected ship date.

When a retailer does that to me, I ask for something to make me happy, like a reduction in the price or free accessories, if they won't do that, I'd cancel.
