will ddr2 1000 run in.......

I got 8 gigs of ddr2 1000 ram (pc28000)
will it run in this board?


Edit: sorry bout lack of info....wife's bugging me.
the board uses ddr2 800 as the memory standard....I'm assuming the memory will just run at those speeds (ddr2800 or less since my chip e8400 has a FSB of 1333)??

The board does claim to be able to support 8GB (2x4) of memory but only DDR2 800 if officially supported.

Yes, you should be able to run DDR2 1066 but it will only run at DDR2 800 speed.

crapola..... i got a steal on some ddr2 1000.....I hope I didn't throw my money away. I keep telling myself that the ram will just run at the slower speed, but I'm not convincing myself right now!
