So a simple question, I will got a Patriot memory Sector 5 G modul on saturday specialy this modul,http://www.patriotmem.com/products/detailp.jsp?prodline=5&catid=61&prodgroupid=167&id=882&type=1

The CPU is Intel Core i7-870 i have an another pair in the mobo and i want to know that aint will be a problem to put this pair, or make some damage?

RAM voltage and CPU voltage are independent of each other, if that's what you are asking. If you have two pairs of memory sticks that want to run at different voltages then no, all the memory will run at the same voltage.

Not true on i7 870. Setting too much ram voltage can ruin the CPU. However, 1.65v won't ruin it based on professional and users reivews I've read.
