Will Crucial 256MB PC133 CAS3 run stable at CAS2?

That depends on how aggressive your memory timings are. Micron is some of the best ram around. Just from some personal experience, I have a 256mb stick of Infineon (also good stuff) that is CAS3 but runs CAS2 will all interleaving maxed-out.

It depends on the stick. Being it's Micron, I'd say almost definitely, at 133MHz. Maybe more. Play around w/it and you'll find out. Worse case scenario is no boot. Reset CMOS and try again. Good luck.

Should be OK - you'll need to try it though. I ran a couple of the 128MB sticks that were rated for CAS3 at 133Mhz CAS2 2-2-2 with no problems.
