Will Corsair Hydro Series H115i work with Cooler Master HAF X?

You might check the Corsair website on this, because they maintain a compatibility list for the cooler. Whether the list contains information about cases of other makes, I can't recall.

I have three HAF 932 midtowers. The HAF X fulltower apparently has top-panel vents designed for (possibly) twin 200mm fans as well as a pair of 140's. That configuration is second-best, as the cooler gets intake from internal case air, and exhausts it. But as much as we've had discussions and disagreements about this, it's not likely to make much difference in a well-ventilated HAF case, especially if most of the other (and 200mm) fans are used for intake.

If the mounting points and holes don't match up to the H115i, you might have to make some minor mods to the case. But I'm inclined to think the cooler will fit at the case top-panel. Whether there is room for quadruple fan application of "push-pull," that's something you would need to find out.

Whether the cooler will fit in the case front-panel, I wouldn't know for sure.

Well, the H115i is a 140x280mm radiator, as I understand it. But it should fit. Personally, I don't hesitate to drill some well-placed holes in a case to make something work, and I don't know what needs to be done to make the H115i mount to that case, but it can't be very much -- if anything.

And actually, the cooler's length is greater than 280, or 312mm. But that's shorter than 360mm.

It looks to me from your picture that you have six fans in that configuration, or three on either side of the radiator. So obviously, push-pull is also a possibility.

Thanks a lot guys!

Here is what I found as far as support for radiators for HAF is concerned:
"Top: 360 / 240mm x1 Rear: 140 / 120mm x1"

So, I guess I have 2 options: either go for H115i and do some case modding, or I go for one of the following 240mm models of the same item:
either Corsair Hydro Series H100i v2, or Corsair Hydro Series H105.
These are obviously smaller, but should fit without any modding needed.
The last one is thicker, which is supposed to give better cooling performance.

So, what would you do?

Well, there would be nothing like an inspection of a HAF X firsthand. But I was sure there were vents in the top for either 2x140mm or 2x200mm, and it really looked like the latter. So I'm puzzled as to how much modding one would need to do. If it didn't require replacing whole case panels and cutting holes in the originals, I don't see that it would be that much trouble or even be noticeable enough to affect any resale of the case with no need to point it out to a buyer.

But I could be wrong. This criss-crosses my own interests of the year because I'm considering choice of the H115i to fit a Corsair Vengeance C70 case. The two items intersect on the Corsair compatibility list.

I've been trying to figure out how to use an AiO in a HAF 932 midtower. But buying the Corsair would be my first case purchase in about 7 or 8 years.
