I want him to be the next "Defense" Secretary but I don't think he'll actually ever make it out of office alive assuming he even gets into office.
One thing I like about Chuck Hagel is that he doesn't support centralization of arms as much as most in this country do. Up until Obama took office, it was actually the Republicans who supported gun control the most (they supported the Iraq War even more than the Dems did at the time). Unfortunately, both parties now support it.
In other words, if you want a military, then you want gun control.
Anyway, I'll take it personally if the MIC ever fucks with Chuck... so don't fuck with Chuck.
