Forgetting the double entendre, LA police want Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner to be charged with manslaughter for the death of a 69 year old man. According to the Sheriff's Office of LA County, Jenner had crashed into the man's car last February. The man's car spun out of control and crashed into another vehicle, resulting in a death.

Not clear if criminal charges will be filed. Certainly a civil lawsuit will. If convicted of a felony and sent to jail, the Sheriff's Office says Jenner will go to a woman's facility.

Another hero's award will be coming forth soon. Maybe a reality TV show from jail.

I was hoping they would charge Bruce Jenner and forget this crazy caitlyn crap.

he will probably plead diminished capacity or not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect.

How can they charge someone who no longer exists?

Does she (he?) still have the ole beans and frank? If so, I am totally going transgender if I am ever facing a prison stay. It won't be all peaches and cream granted, women tend to "sync" up so shit will get really really really bad once a month but otherwise I'd definitely enjoy it a hellofa lot more.

Without knowing more about what she did that caused the accident it's impossible to say whether or not a vehicular manslaughter charge seems appropriate. But if the cops think it is I'd lean more towards it being the case. I'm not sure exactly what the criteria are in the first place, my rough impression is that it involves some kind of protracted negligence where you take very deliberate actions to engage in reckless driving behavior that results in someone getting killed. Like DUI or texting. And less from more spontaneous traffic violations like speeding or failure to signal a lane change.

I hope he gets charged with murder.

Why?

The Police want Jenner charged with Manslaughter but the specific charge would only be a Misdemeanor charge. The Police are saying that Jenner was travelling within the posted speed limit but Jenner was going faster than what was safe under the current conditions. I believe it was raining at the time of the accident and the road surface was wet. If Jenner does get charged not much will come out of it. None of the drivers was using a phone at the time of the accident. It was a issue of one driver suddenly stopping and starting the multiple rear-ends. I think one of the other drivers involved was actually driving on a suspended license. Overall the case seems really weak and the Police are probably only pushing for charges so they don't seem to be showing favoritism to a celebrity. The DA even if they do charge and competent defense attorney would have a field day with all the other mitigating factors. I suspect that if the DA does charge they will be making a plea-bargain offer to the Defense with no time served and community service. I doubt they really want this to go to a jury trial. Which sucks considering someone lost there life. However sometimes accidents are just accidents and we look for someone to blame.

I don't see it. Jenner rear ended another car that had stopped because it had already rear ended the car in front of it. I don't see how Jenner can be charged.

All speed where below posted limits, I just don't see the justification for charges.

Below posted doesn't always get it, that is why there is the safe speeds for conditions charge, however I don't see it applying in this case. If it's raining hard, snowing, icy road etc. just because you are going below the posted speed doesn't mean it is safe.

Or a severe case of "affluenza."
