Will buy Audigy Gamer, now which speakers? (narrowed to 3)

I want to revamp the sound I am getting from my computer.

I was thinking of buying the Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer, and I have narrowed the new speakers down to 3:

Altec Lansing 4100
Altec Lansing 641
Logitech Z560

I am leaning towards the 4100s. I know they are less powerful, but I will not be playing the sound very loud. I know the 641s and Z560s are better, but I don't think the extra cost is justified because again, I will not be playing the music very loud.

What do you guys think? Has anyone had a good experience with the 4100s?

Thanks!

Also, what is the difference between the Audigy OEM and Retail version? I know the OEM doesn't come with the drivers, but does it come with all of the connectors? In other words, just what exactly does the OEM version lack?

Thanks!

OEM lacks the software basically and doesn't have gold connectors but colored ones. I own the oem It has the game port adaptor and an installation disk but that is about it. With the gamer you get some games and demos with the mp3 you get some music software. I personally think it wasn't worth it for 1.5x the money to get the gamer or mp3.

As for the speakers, I own the z560. They are awesome. The 3 main reasons I bought them were they are 400W speakers. They can go really loud! Another reason was they can be easily mounted on the wall as the stands double as a wall mount. And the last major reason is they use regular speaker wire so I just got 100 feet of wire and placed the back ones way on the other side of the room. And a minor reason was I got them for cheap about $130 US shipped (and that was when they were $200 US) So unless those reasons interest you go for the cheaper speaker I guess.

Go with either the 641 or z560. The former would be much more "musical" while the latter would be better suited for games and movies.
