Will burnproff work if I make my internal Lite-On 12x CDRW external?

I'm planning on buying one of those conversion kits (5.25" external USB enclosure) that makes your internal cdrw drive an external.

This would connect to my PC using a USB cable. I need to do this so that I can take my LiteOn cdrw drive to work.

My Lite-On burn does have burnproof.

Here is the product I am thinking of purchasing.

I think they have the wrong pic... but here is the link.

Please refer me to other products that might be a better choice.

Seetness,

You would probably be better off buying a new (or used) drive for work. USB = 1.5MB/s max and more like less than half that sustained- so you would be turning your drive into a 4X speed.

Yes, burnproof will still work and yep, you'll end up with a 4X burner due to USB limitations.
