Only thing that could have made this show any better was if Rock and Stone Cold had beaten Hogan to death...for real.

4 out of 5 stars...loses a star for lacking a Hogan death sequence.

Ha! Called it. And I don't even watch wrestling anymore. When I heard Brock Lesnar, I thought, they want him to lose to an actual badass to give it legitimacy, and Lesnar fills the bill. It had to end sometime soon with a loss or retirement, and if he beat Lesnar (which is a huge stretch by itself at this point), how will it look when someone weaker beats him next year or the year after that? There was no sense in scheduling him against Lesnar unless they wanted him to lose. McMahon didn't get to be a billionaire by carelessly wasting product.

I'm not sure I get why so many people were shocked and mad that a fictional character lost a fictional match. Apparently people walked out after that? What?

Yeah! Just like all those people who were upset about the Red Wedding! How dare people not know the story and get upset about it! How dare people like things that are scripted as well!

I always knew that the Undertaker's streak would be broken, but I thought to either someone who's young to pass the torch, or someone like CM Punk or Shawn Michaels (or even Mark Henry) who's a legend. Never thought they'd let a part time wrestler beat the streak.

The fact that UT went to the ER after might show Lesner was not supposed to win. In the event of a real injury in the ring, usually, the predetermined outcome is scrapped for one that fits the situation.

But, it doesn't really matter who took the win over Taker, as he was done once the streak was ended. Streaks ruin wrestlers, and hyping up them is terrible. The only exception is Andre the Giant. Even after his initial loss (he was undefeated for years), he still was amazing.

People get pissed about scripted TV shows, or any works of fiction, all the time when they kill off a beloved character. Not really that hard to understand.

Its just a huge waste. So many what ifs, but its given to a guy that will soon disappear until Summerslam. I guess the streak is so big that doesn't diminish it, but it does little to enhance it. I hope Brock is just keeping the torch warm until they find someone worthy of it.
Sting and Taker seemed all but confirmed, but now I don't know. Neither of them are in descent shape, and the reason for ending the streak now appears to be so Undertaker can retire in peace.

People can enjoy wrestling - I have no problem with that. I enjoyed the hell out of it growing up. But to cry and storm out of the building? They are more emotionally affected by that match last night than our troops overseas getting killed in an ambush.

There are far more important things in this world to get worked up over than this. These are grown ass adults getting pissed off, not someone that doesn't know the difference between reality and fiction. Or I guess in their case, their is no line.

I read the whole thread simply because I could not believe UT was still actively in the WWE.

The look on Lesnar is priceless...'You mean I get another paycheck without getting my face beat in by ufc heavyweights first?'

Fictional action in tv and movies is a whole lot more entertaining than terrible looking fake fighting.

If I want fake action, I'll watch a movie. If I want fighting, I'll watch UFC. There's really no reason to watch "wrestling."

What bull shit, of all the people to lose it to you lose it to Lesnar. What a fucking joke

So I am assuming that was Undertakers retirement match

Haven't watched wrestling for a long ass time, but Lesnar's a legit college wrestler and the bit I've seen of him in WWE he's good. And he actually has a "holy fuck I'd run from him!" look due to his size and the fact he looks like some ginormous viking warrior. I understand John Cena's popular or whatever, but he doesn't have the imitation factor Brock has.

Joe Rogan said this about him lol.

"I'm not really worried he'd fuck me. I'm REALLY worried he'd use me as a condom to fuck something bigger than me"
