Will BFG 6800GT OC reach Ultra speeds?

I need to get a new vid card and have been looking at the BFG 6800GT OC 256 and the Ultras.

Will the GT reach Ultra speeds, and be reliable?

Most likely, but there are some that might not. I ran my eVGA GT at Ultra speeds reliably for the entire time I owned with no problems.

When the whole craze was about 6800 GTs, I remember hearing BFG cards were generally good cards to choose.

i have personally worked with 10 or so BFG 6800 GTs, only one of which did not hit ultra speeds

Mine does and I have the AGP version with the crappy heatsink.
