i bought some 80mm nmb fans, and plan on sticking it on top of an sk6. do u think this will be suffice for my xp2000+? i am running this cpu on an epox 8rda+, and i do not overclock :p

also... does anyone have recommendations for a program to check my cpu temps? i have downloaded cpucool. is this program accurate?

I have like 8 of these fans, I think it'll be fine. your temps might be a little high, but it'll be fine.

i couldn't stand the screamer delta anymore. the nmb is soooooooooo nice and quiet. i did notice my temps are higher by a good margin. i didn't really do much... just booted up and breifly browsed the web. according to cpucool... my temps were 45C. :)

45 ain't bad, I have my 2400xp running at 60=idle. I just couldn't stand the tornado(on 5volts) anymore.

big time hs are overrated if your case is cooled well and your room isn't overheated.

i run my xp2700+ with an alpha pal 6045. small quiet fan. not a delta. :)

what temps do u get? my xp2000+ with retail hsf used to be 50-60C.
