BTW, I went to the local Home Entertainment center and saw all the new LCD/Plasma screens that are out now and let me tell you, they'er awesome.

This is probably better because its a tube so therefore the regular stations will look great. On this new SONY system though when I saw the demo which was in High Def. my jaw hit the floor with the graphics that this HDTV had...to die for

I had a roommate a couple of years ago that bought one of those (this kid was a Sophomore in college). Needless to say, it was amazing. Absolutely amazing. There was a local channel that was all scenery; granted it was on a loop, but it was gorgeous to watch. I'd put on music and stare at TV. You will enjoy that thing.

$2200 for 34" inch TV.... Hrmmm. I might personally be tempted to go DLP, depending on space concerns. Even then, those XBRs are monsters. They weigh like 250lbs, and stick way out in the back. But good ol' tubes still offer the best and most tweakable image quality of any HDTV.

Should be sweet for PC gaming too!
