Will barton 2500+ be a bottleneck?

I'm thinking to upgrade my video card from ti4200 to a either 6600gt or 6800nu, as many folks here suggested. Just wondering if the barton 2500+ be a bottleneck. Please comment. Thanks!
 
It certainly will be if you aren't overclocking it. Stock barton 2500+ is a piddly 1.83 Ghz if I remember correctly.

At 2.2-2.4 Ghz it would be less of a bottleneck for sure, and an adequate match for either of those cards. Anything with 16 pipes+ you'd want a newer/faster CPU, like an A64.
