I checked my motherboard manual and there is an ATX power connector on it.
Want to keep this old AT case/motherboard. Got a Radeon 9500 Pro for Christmas and it recomends at least a 300 watt power supply. Mine is far from that at 230 watts.
Are the power supplys the same size?
Do the 4 bolts line up the same??
Any other input would be appeciated.

the physical ps will fit, but I think te screws are off... like two fit and the others dont or something weird like that... I would just buy a mid case with ps... you can get decent ones for about 50. just like twenty more then you would spend on a generic ps alone...

Note if getting a PSU, and if your mobo uses a AT power socket, to also check it has a AT power connector - some only have an ATX one. My Antec Truepower does have one, as probably will other Antec & Enermax... Probably most will but do check. I dunno if a TAX psu would go into a AT case, maybe but wouldnt have thought so.

btw if thinking new case might be interested in a thread i just read here $99 for very high quality case and top quality psu.
