Will attaching a printer via USB allow me to print in pure DOS?

Need this answered quickly so I know which cable to buy. My printer will be delivered tomorrow.

A USB printer won't work in Windows 95, let alone dos... Sorry, but you're gonna have to use an LTP connection to print in DOS.

Well, LTP is gonna be a tough one, but LPT might just work

Even with an LPT cable, make sure to read the friendly manual to find out whether the printer needs drivers loaded in pure DOS, or supports pure DOS at all (some are the equivalent of Winmodems, needing Windows drivers to print).
