will athlon 1.4 / 266 fsb work on an asus a7m266?

if it does ... is there a certain setting?

i have it running right now at 1333 with the operating frequency at 133 & cpu clock multiplier 10.5 (which i can't change in bios)

Yes, it does support the 1.4 GHz Athlon.
But you'll need to flash your MOBO with the latest BIOS from ASUS.
