How do you know that? That's a lot of HD space in and of it self, without even thinking of dedicating it to anything.

Not a lot, but enough. I rarely watch anything twice, so it's rare to see my collection being anything larger than a couple gigs.

I used to collect stuff, had 20-30 full length movies on DVD but got tired of it after a while. Once in a while I'll download 20 or 30 gigs of some video but that's nothing compared to what some people have.

I had a little over 1/2 a TB up until a week ago. Got tired of it wasting space, and purged my system (no pun intended).

There must have been terrabytes of it on people's public shares back in college and that was just the stuff free for the taking. You can get even more by trading, swapping whole hard drives was common.

Really? LOL Not that I'm surprised that college guys would collect it but the idea of an open trading market where even whole HDs are traded is a bit funny sounding!

Haha lol. Yeah but that's why people keep downloading the stuff, they always want to see something new. It's just when you don't delete it that it becomes a collection.

The good news is that I thought my collection was getting excessive in size, but is in reality (compared to some people) not even close. Time to do some more surfing!
