Will any of the mobile carriers give you credits for breaking another carriers contract?

I really really want to ditch Sprint, and was wondering if any of the other carriers will give you credit for switching to offset the $150 cancellation fee?

You could ask but I have a hunch there's be some lawsuits involved if a carrier did offer something like this.
Why would there be lawsuits?
I don't see anything illegal about a company offering you a credit to switch.
But no, I haven't seen anything like this. They are already paying you to sign a contract with them by giving you a $100 phone for free.

I would guess that the carriers would sue on the premise that its an unethical business practice or something. Then again, cable companies are doing just that, offering satellite users incentives to switch to cable.
