Will another hard drive fix my problem?

Right now I have Vista RC1 on my 300GB hard drive. I tried to install my capture card, but it won't work. It worked when I had XP, so I'm assuming it's the OS. So if I get another hard drive, like a 20 gig and install XP on it, can boot XP, I record the vids and save them on my 300GB hard drive?

That will do it, on the other hand, you'd better check your card's manufacturer site for vista ready drivers before getting the hdd

Go with the Dr's recommendation of getting an upgraded driver. But your own solution will do also.

It's just a cheap $30 card, made by Sabrent, so they of course don't have Vista drivers for it. Actually I couldn't even find the card in the driver list on their site.
