Will another cell phone company buy me out of my contract?

I want to get out of my sprint contract. I was devising ways to to do it. And I thought "maybe the other company will buy me out" has anyone ever tried this? Do you think it would work?

I'm sure they would, but they would need to make up the money elsewhere. You just wouldn't know where.

The way I see it, you just need to eliminate everyone at sprint who's aware that you have a contract. I suggest you put a "contract" on them, just to see how they like it.

IIRC, a couple of the carriers recently hiked up sms rates, which could be used as a valid escape from your contract.

AFAIK didn't' Sprint just raise the rates on text messaging??? You should be able to get out of the contract because of that.
