Will an older game (like fallout 2) run on XP?

I'm sure you guys will think its a stupid question, and I'm pretty sure it will, but the question still stands...do older win 98/2000 games run on XP without problems?

It varies from game to game, but Fallout 2 runs fine in XP.

Yup, most will (I know fallout 2 does).

edit: if it doesn't run out of the box, google it and someone has probably made a hack to make it work.

yeah, loads of workarounds/patches/fixes for most games

Affirmative: just to reiterate, make sure you patch the game before playing. Ahhh Fallout 2... I still remember the fight against Frank Horrigan; what a BAMF that guy was
