Will an alcohol smoke when heated?

If a small amount of Anhydrous Propanol was heated from the bottom (not substance is not bioling) should it smoke?

I'm guessing no.

I am thinking the alcohol will boil or (bump very violently and splash you in the face if you try to heat it very suddenly and forcefully) as the boiling point is so low and vapor pressure so high that it will vaporize before it gets hot enough to form soot or smoke.

depends on the %.

95% ethanol will catch on fire if you heat it.
