Will an acrylic window crack if i cut it with a dremel?

Will an acrylic window crack if i cut it with a dremel? Ive seen the rough edges a dremel does on a sidepanel... but im kinda worried about acrylic cracking under a dremel. i dont have access to a jigsaw so that option is out. thanks guys.

I actually like cutting with a jigsaw better than the dremel but it's not as precise,. if you're cutting curves then I would use the dremel.

Or you can just have it precision waterjet cut at 44,000 PSI to almost any shape you want 🙂 see my posts here

if you use a reinforced cutoff wheel at a very low speed (2 if you have a variable speed, lowest setting if you don't) you should be ok. however, the acrylic might melt a little bit at the point of contact.

LOL... hahaha... where can i get my case cut like that? I would if i could... geez... 44000psi huh... damn and i thought water was harmless... 🙂

Low speed cutting it is then... geez i have like 20 wheels ready for this... i used 8 doing the sidepanel... i hope this doesnt take too much. Thanks guys.
