Will an A/V rack hold computer rackmount equipment?

Saw this on sale for cheap locally: http://www.amazon.com/Samson-SASRK21.../dp/B000QDLPHS

Was wondering if this would hold rackmount server equipment (cases, maybe a switch)? Do these racks have identical dimensions to racks built for servers?

No, it's a shallow rack meant for audio gear. There is some rackmount network gear that would fit, but the thing is only ~19" deep. The width, RU height and screw hole spacing are however identical.
