The A7V133 is the KT133a chipset and is compatible with the XP1600 CPU. In fact, I am running 1900+ on my A7V133.

Now your gigabyte mobo is another story. According to gigabyte web site, there are 4 different revisions of that mobo.

DETAILS: PCB revision Chipset Support FSB

7ZX(-1) rev.1.0 VIA KT133 Chipset Support 100MHz FSB
7ZX(-1) rev.5.0 VIA KT133 Chipset Support 100MHz FSB
7ZX rev.5.1 VIA KT133A Chipset Support 100/133MHz FSB
7ZX-1 rev.5.1 VIA KT133(E) Chipset Support 100MHz FSB

If you have KT133a version, then it will probably work. Otherwise???

i know for fact that gigabyte board isn't KT133a....

currently i'm running athlon t-bird 1.33gig on asus board...

now my question is will t-bird compatible to my gigabyte board?

do u think this t-bird is 200 and 266 bus?

the athlonxp's work perfectly with any kt133a board
i had one working in a kt133 board as well it just runs slower on that one unless you change the clock mult
no issues
that's one reason why AMD's athlon series is so great
they kept the socket 462 so long and the motherboards had a long life span

I have just got my ASUS A7V133 C running with and XP1800+, but because it was an older revision (1.0) I had to set the CPU via the jumpers instead of the bios. As SoulKeeper suggested to me, take a look at this website at http://a7vtroubleshooting.com it should help.
Good Luck
