please help. I just bought AMD MP 1800 to replace my AMD thunderbird 1.2Gh. My motherboard is MSI k7T266 Pro 2. But after I pluged it in, I didn't work ( thermal stuff was taken care really carefully). Nothing show up after I turn it on. I plug my old CPU back, it's working again. What's wrong with that?
any help would be appreciated
thanks

A good idea would be to flash with the boards newest BIOS.
Not sure about your particular motherboard, but others that run the XP run the MP just fine.
